Observatory Engagement Session

When I started my photography business, the weirdest thing started happening. Anywhere I went I started planning photoshoots in my head. I’d drool over the photos I knew I could make for some couple in love, already thinking of composition and light.

Griffith Park Observatory in LA was always on my list of dream shoot locations. We visited last year and I fell in love with everything about the spot. When we planned a trip back to the area I knew I absolutely had to schedule a shoot.

In stepped Kelsey and Jordan. The weather had been pretty crummy all day, but just before our session started, the sun dipped below the clouds and gave us the yummiest pink and gold sunset. We ran around the grounds while the sun sank and we finished our shoot in the dark- my favorite kind of day.
