Olympic National Park Engagement- Washington
Misty and Michael reached out about their elopement, and said they figured we couldn’t sneak in an engagement session before the weather turned. We realized we both had THAT WEEKEND free and we decided to spur of the moment trek over to Olympic National Park and sneak in a session.
When I say the weather turned out…. IT TURNED OUT. We had the most beautiful. warm, October afternoon. As the sun set we watched one of the most beautiful sunsets I’ve seen on the coast. We splashed around tidepools, admired starfish, and were the last ones to leave the beach after the sun went down. It was truly such a magical day, and I can’t express how happy I am that there are crazy people in this world that say “heck yes we’ll drive 10 hours round trip for an epic engagement session.” They are MY PEOPLE.
This session was a favorite for so many aesthetic reasons, but mostly I just was so thankful to spend the afternoon with such genuine, fun people (and their dog, hello).
And Olympic National Park has SO much to offer, I’m already counting the days until I can go back. There is a freaking RAINFOREST, OCEAN, and FOREST all within the park. LIKE HELLO PERFECT PLACE. Definitely the best the PNW can squeeze into such a relatively small place!
