Roos Ranch- New Intimate Oregon Coast Wedding Venue

The Oregon Coast is one of the most amazing places in the world. The contrast of the clean sand with the rough foliage is unique and so beautiful. It is a popular destination for elopements and weddings, but is surprisingly lacking in wonderful venues!

Step in Roos Ranch. This intimate, unique, new venue is filling a void for Oregon coast venues! For the small and close weddings, this will likely exceed your expectations. The venue has a covered area that’s open on two sides- thus ensuring beautiful light. To add to the ambiance the venue has strung cafe lights across the whole space- it is so romantic and cozy!

On a summer night I envision people dancing under the lights and stepping out into the green fields for peace and to enjoy the stars. We were lucky enough to shoot here on the stormiest day of the year! It was POURING outside, and we stayed dry under the cover, and the water on the floor created an amazing reflection effect- making me think maybe the best time to use this venue is winter!

Besides being an amazing venue, it’s also a short jaunt to the beach for photos and fun! Double score.

In addition to Roos Ranch, I had the pleasure of working with some incredible vendors on this shoot. They were based both on the coast and in Portland! The florals, catering, dress, invitations, jewelry artists, bud vases, and hair/makeup artists were all amazing! I can recommend each of these vendors without any reservations. They are all incredible people who absolutely lead the industry in their craft. I am so lucky to be able to capture their work!
