Wooden Shoe Farm Wedding

This wedding was the perfect summer wedding. It was held at the groom’s family’s farm, the Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm. I’ve been to this farm for their remarkable Tulip Festival that’s held every year, but being there in the summer for a wedding was truly remarkable. The farm’s extensive gardens were lush and green, creating the perfect backdrop for all the portraits of the day. The getting ready suite was spacious and comfortable, and the lawn for the ceremony was just gorgeous.

Hailey and Thomas were the most fun couple ever. They were so over the moon to get married, and you could tell how happy they were all day. Hailey burst into tears when she saw him just before the first look, and the tears kept flowing all day. Not least of which happened during the first look between Hailey and her dad. If you’re on the fence for doing a father/kid first look- I dare you to look at the photos of Hailey and her dad and NOT commit then and there.

Hailey and her dad also surprised the guests with a choreographed dance during the reception! They threw on sunglasses and boogied together and it was literally the most fun thing ever. The guests dined on ice cream and treats while we snuck out for some portraits by the beautiful pond, and then made it back in time to dance the night away.

If you are looking for a beautiful location in Oregon for your summer wedding, the Wooden Shoe Farm is a sure thing. I hope you look through the pictures and ooh over the incredible details they pulled together!
