Cathedral Park Family Session
The Wade family approached me to take photos as a mother's day gift. They have photos done every year at the same time, which I think is so wonderful! They are able to capture the growth of the kids, and the growing love they have for their family.
We wanted to get a bunch of photos of the little cousins together. They are darling, and so incredibly sweet! I grew up seeing my cousins all the time, and its such an amazing bond. It's clear that O, C, and R are beyond close. When the boys walked up, R ran over to give them hugs! It was so adorable!
I think it's so important to take a second to get a photo of mom and dad alone. I love that it gives a moment to reflect on the beautiful family you've built.
Then of course we had to get a picture of the sisters! I have two younger sisters, so sister photos always have a place in my heart.
Taking so many family photos makes me realize I haven't had any professional photos done since Nora was born! I want to change that asap. You'll never look back on family photos and say that you wish you didn't have them. Looking back on family photos transports me back to that time when my babies were smaller, and I get lost in lovely memories of first haircuts, tiny shoes, and the little sounds that newborns make. I don't regret a single picture I have, but I know I'll regret the ones I don't have. That's why I think it's so cool that the Wade family makes it a priority!
I had a great time working with this sweet family, I can't wait to see these littles grow!
